Welcome to my Art World. I rediscovered myself and ready to tell the world my stories and my reflections of truth. My artwork tells it all. I hope you join and support me in this journey.

About the Artist

I am an Alberta-based Filipina artist who was a self-taught portrait artist in my youth and earned recognition for my work from my small City. The fear of being broke as an artist led me to pursue studies in civil engineering, and I have become a successful bridge engineer. I migrated to Canada together with my four children in 2007. Alberta has been a new home for my family.

Economic crisis in Alberta brought me to pursue my career in Toronto in 2016. In January of 2018, I joined one paint night, shaky and rusty, but this brought me back home to my first love-fine arts. Inspired by Bob Ross youtube videos, I decided to rediscover my painting spirit using oil wet-on-wet style, slowly evolving into fine art. Painting gives me a holistic healing from the drudgery of life. I rejoined my children in Alberta. Inspired by the Canadian Rockies and wildlife I have passionately built a portfolio showcasing the sublimity of the Canadian National Parks – mountains, emerald lakes and rivers, colourful foliage and lovely wildlife. My collection contains all four seasons.

Colours of Winter

In my childhood, I had a dream in my sleep, overjoyed by the experience of painting. As an artist, I like to combine realism and surrealism, the spirit that fuels my passions and it is my goal for my audience to not only want to touch but step inside my paintings and bring them to places that enrich their spirits. “The Colours of the Wind”, my first gallery exhibit, is a collection of Canadian Rockies in oil that showcases the pristine mountains and lakes of Canada. I especially want to show the colours that stimulate me.
