I have witnessed the most beautiful colors of fall in Algonquin Provincial Park located between Georgian Bay and the Ottawa River in Ontario, Canada. The park is contiguous with several smaller provincial parks that protect important lakes and rivers in the area formed by the retreat of the glaciers during the ice age. The park supports an uncommon bio-diversity environment with the coniferous and deciduous forest mix, wildlife and plants. Algonquin is a historic site that inspires me as an artist with historic lodges, camps, hotels, railways and museums. Nature keeps me company while driving alone from Toronto to Edmonton. Took me 4 days 3 nights.
